Serenity Springs Massage & Bodywork is committed to maintaining the complete confidentiality of the client’s health care information. As part of our commitment to client confidentiality:

  • We will not discuss the names of our patients with anyone that is not part of our practice.
  • All information about our client and their health conditions will be used within our practice in a professional manner.
  • Client information will never be provided to a third party unless we have the appropriate consent and/or authorization signed by the client.

Should we ever inadvertently make a mistake regarding the confidentiality of a client’s health information; we will immediately do everything possible to correct the error.

ARRIVAL

First time Clients, please arrive for your appointment(s) 10 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This allows you the time to fill out the appropriate client form, change and prepare for the service. All services offered have a specific time schedule and early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience. If late arrival is inevitable, your service(s) may be shortened in order to keep on schedule.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel within less than 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, we not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have taken your scheduled appointment time. For this reason we are still obligated to compensate our therapist for their time as well as make up for our lost revenue Please give us 24 hours notice if you must cancel or reschedule your appointment. Appointments canceled in less than the required time will be billed 50% of service. We charge 100% of the full price of the service for appointments that are no call no shows. 

LATE ARRIVAL POLICY

We regret that late arrivals will not receive extension of scheduled appointments. In special cases, and when our schedule will allow, we may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at our discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival. 

SEXUAL MISCONDUCT

Sexual misconduct is forbidden. Client understands that any illicit or sexually aggressive remarks, advances or gestures will result in the immediate termination of the session and client will be liable for full payment of the scheduled appointment. 

GRATUITY

In appreciation, gratuities may be given at your discretion. All gratuities are appreciated.  A customary gratuity for services is at least 15% of your total fee for each service

Returned Check Policy

Dishonored Checks

Any person who passes a check on insufficient funds shall be liable for the amount of the check, and a service charge payable to Serenity Springs Massage & Bodywork not to exceed $25.00 for the first check, and $35.00 per check for each subsequent check.

A person writing an NSF check is liable for treble damages under California Civil Code Section 1719 unless that person pays the face amount of the check, the service charge, and the cost of mailing a written demand by certified mail within 30 days of mailing of the notice. The treble damages shall not be less than $100.00 or more than $1,500.00.

When the person becomes liable for the treble damages, that person is no longer liable for the service charge or the cost of mailing the treble damages letter.
